Emergencies don't wait for a convenient moment.

For dialysis patients, missing even one treatment can be life-threatening. Natural disasters, power outages, and unexpected crises can disrupt access to care — that's why we provide emergency kits built specifically for the renal community, so you're never caught unprepared.

The National Kidney Foundation, the National Institutes of Health, and the World Health Organization all recommend that dialysis patients have an emergency plan in place. Proper care and a renal-friendly diet — while not a replacement for treatment — can help extend the time between treatments when access to a center is unavailable.

"Patients who had a written emergency plan were significantly more likely to maintain their treatment schedule during Hurricane Harvey."

— American Journal of Kidney Diseases
